The End...

ZF3 has got off to a great launch, it really seems that having a pro editor go through the book was definitely worth the delay. (Thank you Mo!) I have started writing ZF4 and have a tentative name, but it is way to early in the process so I'm just going to hold onto thatnugget of info for a little while longer. The prequel on the other hand called - Dr. Hugh Mann - MAY be available in May. Just matters in what direction my creative juices are flowing, and to be honest right now, it's a friggen flood into ZF4. SO I wanted to thank everyone that has bought my book, is thinking about buying my book or just plain stumbled across this site! Pin It Now!

  1. I just want to say I'm loving the series! Big fan! Can't wait for the rest of the series! Any ideas how many you will write?

  2. Hi Viv, first off THANK YOU, feel free to come over to FB if you're into that. As always as an Indie Author, I am always begging for readers to leave reviews wherever they bought the book(s). Ok now with that being said, it is honestly difficult to say how long this series, will be. When I initially thought out the story, it was going to be one and done. I wasn't a third through the book before I realized THAT wasn't going to happen. I quickly expanded it to a trilogy. So I finished writing the first book and the second book and was about halfway through the third when I once again thought, there is no way I am going to be able to wrap this up in this book. So I am currently writing the 4th and that little tickle in the back of my head is starting to go off again. Right now, it will DEFINITELY be a 4 book series, POSSIBLY 5, and after that I think only Tommy knows.

  3. Thanks for the reply! I don't often write reviews for books on amazon because I'm not always very good with words, but I'll give I some thought and perhaps write a couple of lines to let people know how great the books are!

Well however many you write I'm sure they'll be fab. Am really looking forward to finding out what happens next to Mike and the gang. Please make sure nothing happens to Harvey though, nearly cried along with tommy when we lost bear.

  4. I have always loved Zombies and found the ZF series while at my parents this last Christmas. I was immediately hooked but imagine my disappointment upon finding that the third was not yet finished. Well I can honestly say I checked back weekly for ZF3 and my excitement when finding it available for purchase resulted in several co-workers coming over to see if I had won the lottery, which I of course felt I had. I was saddened by the thought of this wonderful series ending and forced myself to put the book down for days at a time so that I could prolong the enjoyment I get from reading this. Upon reading the last page I immediately went to this blog to see when ZF4 will be available and will be waiting somewhat patiently for its release. I want to thank you for writing this series. The characters are amazing and I am invested in each and everyone. The depth you have given them makes it impossible not to be invested. I also appreciate the fact that the Talbot family has had to fight every step of the way. I also want to thank you for not trying to finish this series in ZF3 if it was not meant to be. So many authors these days try to stuff everything in one book and so much is lost.

    Fondly waiting for ZF4,

    Athena

  5. Hi Athena, Thank you so much for taking the time to write on this blog! Your kind words are MOST deeply appreciated! ZF4 is coming along very well, but it is still a little early in the process to give a definitive time line. I will definitely keeps folks posted! HOWEVER while you are waiting, if you could leave reviews on the books wherever you bought them I would very ecstatic, and I will make sure that Henry wags his tail in your general direction!

  8. Hi Mark,
I arrived a little late to the party but once I got here I am having a blast!! I found your ZF book 1 on Amazon by chance and loved it so much I had to down load the next 2! I was a little upset at the end of the 3rd one as you kind of left some folks dangling in the wind (don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read it yet) but am so relieved to hear you are working on number 4!!! I had to down load "Indian Hill" to get my "Mike" fix and am LOVING it!! Can't wait to read the story of the good Dr. Mann.
You have a wonderful way with words that I find very amusing (my husband kept asking me "What are you laughing about? so many times) and reduced me to tears I was laughing so much.
Can't wait to continue the Talbot saga so please keep them coming! :-)

  9. Hi Connie, No one's ever late for this party, the door is always open! Thank you for taking the time to post on my blog! Real glad you're liking Indian Hill, getting the rest of that series edited this year so I'm pretty thrilled about that, and again I really just want to say thank you, I love when readers contact me.

  10. This is possibly the best series I have read in a long time.
I got tired of vampires and werewolves. I was hesitant to start with another genre, but am glad I did.
Let your fans know as soon as possible when ZF4 will be out!
    Thanks
