Update!

Roquendo contacted me and appologized.  She took the torrents down.  A thank you to her for that.  And a huge THANK YOU to all my fans/friends/supporters.  You guys are amazing, I hope you all know this.
One down....how many more to go.  Have a great memorial day weekend everyone! Pin It Now!

  1. That's great news. Wish it hadn't happened at all in the first place. At least now she gave you an apology and took the torrents down. Still, it doesn't give you the money you've earned and are owed.

  6. Hello anonymous, think what you want, I realize piracy is a way of the digital age. I've made my peace with it, I don't condone it but I understand that if people want to get something for free the only thing holding them back would be themselves. I am an independent author, I do not get huge royalty checks, I did not get a huge advance (or any advance for that matter), like the majority of Americans I live paycheck to paycheck. My book sales are my livelihood, I do not desire to get in a debate with you over this, but put it in this perspective, when you go to work this week let's say at the end of the week your check was short by 5% and the reasoning behind it was that some of your services were rendered for free, if that sits well with you than I guess you don't understand my perspective. I work hard to put out as good a product as I can. The editing and the art work come out of my pocket, I charge a fair price for my books but yet they are downloaded at a rate WAY more than my sales, its the price of doing business. Like I said, I understand it and I have come to accept it, but sure I wish it wasn't happening either. I appreciate you putting your email out there. But it's an old post and one I should probably pull down.
