  3. Oh my gosh! Only 6 more days, if you count all of today! Thanks! (yours are the only books I buy on release, and I read a LOT!) I usually wait until they come down in price. I enjoy your sick and twisted sense of humor. Please keep them coming.

  5. Awesome job - I'm really impressed how you keep bringing entertainment, new story branches and plot twists, and manage to keep the story interesting. I know that being impressed by someone like me doesn't mean much, but that doesn't mean I can't express my gratitude for your work :)

For a long, long time I have hoped that at some point in time someone will release a zombie movie that would last more than one film and would consist of a more elaborate plot line than the usual 'meet the future survivors, watch them survive while others are getting eaten alive, watch survivors come together while some of them get eaten after all and then the survivors hitting the road trying to find happy ending, which most of the time ends few possible but predictable ways'. What I was really hoping for was something like Lord of the Rings but the zombie version of it.

There were some movies that had really good entertainment value and kept us 'Zombie fans' happy ('Shawn of the dead', 'Zombieland', etc.), but weren't really the thing that would give the deserved satisfaction we all have been craving for since 1978 (I actually wanted to write 'zombiegasm' instead of 'satisfaction' but was discouraged by this description of the word in urban dictionary http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Zombiegasm). The satisfaction that our inner 'fantasy fan' got with 'Lord of the Rings' movies and 'Game of Thrones' series, and the satisfaction that our inner 'sci-fi fan' got with 'Star Wars' movies.

There was nothing like that around for the true zombie fan (btw, I do not consider 'Resident Evel' movies to be zombie movies because zombies in them are more kind of a thing that gives right atmosphere but not the main plotline thing - they really got over the roof with all the mutant creatures and genetic modifications. Maybe it's just me, but it's not what my inner 'zombie-fan' would consider to be 'Lord of the Rings' kind and scale of a zombie story).

So - I had almost lost all hope, but then I came across your 'Zombie Fallout' series. It is an incredible zombie story and I'm confident (maybe even over-confident) that your books will make it to the big screen and fans all over the word will find their 'Holy Grail' of zombie movies. Fingers crossed...

Thank you once again for your good work and god bless you and your family.

P.S. Excuse me for spelling errors - English is not my native :P

    1. P.P.S. RE: 'but weren't really the thing that would give the deserved satisfaction we all have been craving for since 1978' - some probably where waiting for since 1968, but I wasn't born then - so for me it's since 1978 (Dawn of the Dead) :)

  9. My sister insisted that I read ZF and I am sooo glad she did. Your mixture of humor, suspense, gory details, and characters that are easy to care about and fall in love with had me hungry for more. I'd be the first person in line to see this series brought to life on the big screen. Thanks for your talent and passion; it's authors like you that remind me why I love to read!

  13. Hi Mark!!!
You picked a FABULOUS date to release ZF5 (it's my birthday!!).

Anyway, I've just finished reading ZF3 and I must say that I've really enjoyed reading your books. They are so refreshing, and I love Mike's inner monologue! :)

I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series. Thank you for the nightmares! (I really do mean that, by the way. I love a good zombie nightmare).

  15. Mr mark Tufo, I just have to tell you how awesome I think your fallout series is. I ve read a lot of zombie novels and yours quickly became a favorite. The series was more fantasy than I was expecting at first (the whole vampire thing gave me a ” whaaaat??” Face at first) but I like how your books are different in that way from all the others I've read. I love the humor throughout, reminds me of well, me and my family. Apparently I'm also a sarcastic smart ass : ) its probably awful but I love when everyone says mean shit to or about cranky ass mrs denuex (don't be mad if I spelled it wrong hah) and BT and mike together is gold. BT might be my fav, mike is duff a close second.
I'm glad you decided not to end with only three books, that would never be enough! And I'm not sure if five is either ....haha. I just got the fourth and third and a half three days ago, I'm already half way thru the fourth and ordered the fifth online yesterday so hopefully it will be here by the time I've finished! (doubtful)
Anyway, thanks for writing such entertaining stuff, I def recommend your books to all my fellow zombie fan friends and even got my lil sis to start reading the first one. I read the comment above about making the series into a movie, I think that'd be awesome if hollywood could manage not to ruin it.
    Thanks again!

    1. Hi Cesily, Thank you for posting! Yeah I've had more than a few folks go 'Dude this is a zombie book whatthe hell is a vampire doing here?' Eliza was NEVER supposed to be in the book she just sort of evolved to the ass she is today. So what do you think about Deneuax now? I'm glad you;re enjoying the books!

  16. Really, really love your Zombie Fallout series. Read everyone and they feel like family to me. I must own about 350 Zombie novels and you are by far the best. i am an older female, age 62, but have loved Zombies for a long time. you have brought life, heartache and fun to your books. My favorite characters are Tommy and of course Henry the dog. The Talon family is funny but a tight knit party. How far do you see this series going? Hope forever.
    You are so talented.

    1. Hi Anonymous (Diane?) Thank you, it's been a lot of fun writing about the Talbots, yeah Henry is definitely a fan favorite, if you pop on over to fb you can see a picture of the real Henry. As for how long on the series, not sure what you've read on these threads but it was supposed to only be one book, then 3, then 4, then DEFINITELY 5. I'm writing book 6 now. I really don't have an answer. Six or seve3n would be a quick guess but you've seen how well that works out for me!

This is the greatest series ever. I can catch myself laughing out loud or at the edge of my seat. How someone hasn't made this into a TV series or better yet a movie is beyond me. I just downloaded book 5 and can't wait until book 6 is released.
